It's A Long Way To The Top (If You Want To Rock N Roll) w/ Ben Jelen
So Saturday Doreen got to my house around 11, and my dad went over directions w/ us and then we were on our way to NJ.
We did pretty good on the way there, some traffic in the Bronx but that was expected. We took a wrong turn when we got to sayreville, and ended up on a freaking parade route. The locals were all heckling us saying "youre driving around in circcles!" and "Do you think that cop will let you through? the parades coming!" But we honestly didn't CARE about the freaking parade we just wanted to find Hanson.
So finally we made our way there and got in line. Then Doreen got the chair and we plopped ourselves down by the bus. Then they told us to move the line one way. Then they told us to move back the other. Doreen headed off to Dunkin Donuts for some food and HOT chocolate. Meanwhile, Michelle, Leah and Nicole showed up so I called them over. Then the 3 of them went to find Tonya and other AFHers and the security proceeded to make me the front row of the barricade for when Hanson came.
I was cracking up and when Nicole, Leah and Michelle got back they were all what the heck!? LOL I felt like I was in a zoo and being caged in because I was dangerous. But I didn't even care to see Hanson.
Then my love Ben showed up and Nicole was like who is that? it looks like Taylor he's a decoy! But i was like No! Thats my boyfriend Ben. And I think we met up with Joey around then too because I know she took 2 really freaking hot pics of Ben where he looks like a model. And Ben's hair is so perfect he'd move his head to move it out of the way and it would do just what he wanted it to do. I was jealous.
Then this big van came by and I looked in and was like "hehehe i see zac" and sure enough, Hanson was in the van. So they pulled in through the barricdes (which we moved away from because I don't really know why) and got out and either in the bus or in the venue, I dont know.
Then later on Michelle and I were arguing over a hotel and then they all jumped out of the bus and we were like =-O and totally not prepared to take pics so that totally sucked LOL. Then Nicole was all "I took 5 pics! I did I did! No wait.. aww man I didn't!" and Leah goes "Dont worry I took like 3." and then turns out later on she dropped the camera and the film came out so yeah no one got anything.
Then Joey, Nicole and Leah snuck like.. backstage it was too funny.
Then we waited and waited and waited and I lost all feeling in my feet and ashley and erin showed up and I totally didnt even recognize them because I'm a crack head.
We waited some more and jess, ris, alex, mary, kristal and becky showed up. Then beckie and nia did and it was fun. We took a huge ass group picture and then waited some more.. and then we were let inside.
I ran up to the couches and was like "couches yay" then ran back down to Erin and Kristal and Doreen and no one wanted to come with me so I ran back up and took a seat and realized I was going to be by Kate the whole night.
I sat around, Ben came on.. sang his same old songs.. then came over to the merch table so I got to meet him again :) Oh how exciting. A girl there took my pic w/ him I love her she was nice. LOL
Then i went and bought a Ben shirt and talked to Kate a little bit She remembered me from Hartford and was really sweet to me AGAIN. I hid my Katie and Zac necklace behind me when I went to talk to her cuz if I didn't she probably would have been mean to me or something.
I couldn't see the whole show and I was really bored and pissed and what not... But they sang a new song so I was quite happy I got to hear that and then Ben joined them for the encore and it was plugged in and AWESOME and Ben was all prancing around playing his violin ( there were little TVs I could watch that had horrible views on it. Zoom would have been nice.)
Zac's solo.. I asked him to play it in the note I wrote them in Hartford cuz Kristal wanted to hear it. and he goes "I want to dedicate this to Kate" Um thanks buddy. Since I ya know asked for it and all. Just dedicate it to your girlfriend, thats cool. Ass.
Then the show was over and I hung out inside and couldnt find anyone and then I went outside and they were by the bus, but then we went to the diner instead of staying for Hanson.
It was kind of too cold to wait for Hanson especially since i was like ehh whatever. And just wanted to take some pics. Ashley I guess got some of Taylor so yeah.
Ummmm thats basically it the set list is in another post and yup.
cheesequake. K turns. Merging Traffic. Tiny tunnels. GOOOOO EZ PASS!
