OK, my friend had my hair in pigtails, and then she bradied in white pipecleaners so it would look like Chris' hair, well, when it was black and white.
We car pooled/train followed, with 4 other cars. I was the oldest "fan" of the car pool. We had 3 boys/guys with us. 1 was 14 and 2 were 10. I still don't know if the 14 year old was forced to come, or if he came willingly.
We drove and got there.. (wow!) and then we heard yelling and people said it was NSYNC, but it wasn't, there were people throwing weathervane shirts out. So that caused a huge commotion, and I'm too short so I couldn't see over people..
Then I looked over to my right and I was like 3 feet away from a boy who looked like Colin from the Rosie ODonnell show. My mom said it wasn't him, so I didn't go to talk to him or anything, she just said he just looked like him. He seemed to thin she thought. Finally they started to let us in, and they checked our bags (a camera was in my pocket) and the guys was like "you're all set" and then they took my ticket and then I get to this girl handing out something out and she goes to me "JC wanted this to be given to you" cuz I had my JC shirt on and I looked up at her rolled my eyes and was like "well thanks"
Then we had to wait in line to get to the lawn. I think Micheal Africk was on stage 1, alot of people were saying it was Jordan, but I knew it couldn't have been. Then INOJ went on the stage. Then they FINALLY let us in. So we ran in and found a spot. 4 chairs were set up and girls behind us were like "oh no, there's only 4 chairs, I'm starting to get worried so I said "oh you didn't hear? Justin won't be here" but I don't know if they heard me, I'm so evil :)
Then we waited and waited and listed to about a million Phil Collins songs, and a few beatles songs. Then Johnny Wright came out and introduced 3rdStoree they come out in like inspector gadget puppet outfits, it was cool. They sang 4 songs or so.
Then it said "these guys have been around for 20 years!" or something, and Sugar Hill Gang came out.. They sang Rappers Delight, My Name is, and like a gazillion Puff Daddy song clips, and this lil kid came out and was singing and dancing with them. Then they FINALLY left. There performance was not good, i'm not into that music :)
Then they started setting up for Jordan, DJ Finesse came out and stuff, and they put the sign up and everything.. then the dancers came out, and then hecame out and sang.. He was like "Hatford has some pretty fine women" cuz he has a boston accent and didn't say "Hartford" I was mimicking him all night. I held up my "JORDAN I <3 U" sign, and I had my Jordan doll with me too. He sang Give it to you, and I could never take the place of your man, and one was a cover and he sang something else too. Then he has the DJ show off his skills, and that was cool.
Then he left and Lance's Moster Ballads cd started playing (Justin was onthe radio the night before, and he said "Lance bought the moster ballads cd as a joke and we've been playing the crap out of it") so we were laughing.
Then we saw people behind the curtains but it wasn't NSYNC. Then this boy comes out and says "I'm Colin and you might know me from the Rosie O Donnell show" and I yelled at my mom because it was him and I could have talked to him! Then all the screens went fuzzy. They did their opening lil surprise thing and were going "NSYNC IS HERE,NSYNC IS HERE, NSYNC IS HERE" and were singing Here we Go, then they sang You Got It. I tried to dance along, but the slope of the hill was making me loose my balance.
They sang most of the songs.. did the eras.. JC looked SOOO cute during that thing you do. They sang ABC and The Love You Save, Celebration and Crazy For You. The screens had the BEST footage of the hip thing they do :) God Must Have Spent was the LONGEST and I now don't like Justin as much because of it. He was on the screen and EVERYONE (but me) was screaming, cuz it was like Justin on the screen.
He "forgot the words" so then he had to hold this like 8 year olds hands to remember it.. he was like smirking and licking his lips when the screen had him on it, and everyone was going crazy. FINALLY he finished the song. JC was running and jumping around the whole stage. I couldn't watch him with my binoculars, cuz he was making me dizzy.
Then they left, and ALOT of people left, even though they still hadn't sung I Want You Back and Tearin' Upmy Heart. So they came out with the burning flame and sang I Want You Back and Justin was like "HARTOFRD CONNECTICUT ARE YOU STILL WITH US? I SAID CONNECTICUTAREYOUY STILL WITH US?" and everyone screamed. And he kept saying "You Sing" to I guess us.. but I kept thinking he was saying "you stink" lol. Theaccoustics were BAD. JC was talking and I didn't know it was him cuz itsounded like he sucked in a helium balloon before talking his voice was so high.
Then they did sailing and flew, that was so cool. And then they did tearin' up my heart. They flew back up, and squirtedpeople, but Joey couldn't re attach the strings to his harness he needed help :) Then he finally got up there, and JC did like 3 flips while flying. Then I thought he was saying "your starving, I'm starving" I don't know what he reallywas singing though.
Then they were singing "Ain't No Stopping us now" cuz I guess the Endless summer nights tour doesn't begin until the 29th. One of the ladies with us said the buses were to our left so we went out that way, and the bus was pulling away, so I held my sign up over my head (it was NSYNC and each letter was collages of one member,and it had a flame too) and Chris picked up the blind and looked out the window at us!!! It was socool. I thought Lance was on the second bus, but that was the band bus, so it must have been a look a like :)
We were pooling with all these annoying teenies, so they were trying to hackey. So I took the hackey from them cuz it landed at my feet and they werelike "we can't start the show until we hackey it's an NSYNC tradition don't youknow that?" and I was like DUH! so I said (in annoying voice) "Like oh my god,like I'm a like Hanson fan and I like didn't know that, I'm like SOO stupid!" hehe. and they just kinda looked at me like "HANSON EWW" and I was like getaway. hehe.
Then I had to pull out my pipe cleaners, 3 got stuck, and then I lookedlike a cocker spaniel because my "ears" were all krimped, hehe. So my friendstarted calling me "bobo" cuz it was some JC quote or something she said. I dunno. But it was fun :) I got home at 2AM and fell right to sleep and didn't wake up until 12 :) I have to unpack everything now :)
